History/Art/Book Fair & Open House
.
On Thursday, April 15, the Yreka SDA School had an Open House and History/Art/Book Fair. For the History fair, all of grades 1-9 set up their history projects. Grades 1-3 put up information and pictures about different U.S. presidents. Grades 4-6 did their history projects on California history, and different projects included gold mining, missions, and Native Americans. Grades 7-8 had projects on U.S. history, and the 9th grade wrote papers and built visuals about something from World history.

Many people came, and not only for the History fair. There was also an Art fair, and students could display any art they wanted to. There were Perspective pictures, a mural of Abraham Lincoln, and self-portraits, among others.

The school also held their annual Usborne Book fair. And there were a lot of books to choose from!

As well as all the other fairs, there was also Open House. Students and their parents, as well as other people who came, could go to the classrooms and see the things on display there.

All in all, the events turned out very well, and there was great attendance.
Thank you students for working so hard to make this a good evening. And thank you to all the support we had.
