Awards Assembly - Oct 30
On October 30, the school met in the gym in the early morning for awards from the first quarter. To begin they sang worship songs, accompanied by the piano. Pastor Larry gave a short worship afterward. Then the awards were awarded. The 1st-3rd graders were given Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance certificates and pencil containers for turning in their homework folders weekly. The 4th-6th graders were similar, Honor Roll certificates and a certificate for turning in homework sheets daily. 7th-9th graders were awarded with Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance certificates. Finally, tickets had been passed out throughout the quarter for good behavior. There were drawings for 4th-9th and 1st-3rd. Each drawing had one special award for a ticket drawn out first. For every ticket, a student chose candy, erasers, bendable animals, frisbees, bookmarks, or pencils.
