Canned Food Collection - Oct 22
On Thursday, October 22, almost all of the 4-9 graders distributed paper bags throughout most of Yreka. Stapled on the bags were papers telling how the Yreka SDA School was collecting canned and non-perishable goods, and when the students would come to pick the bags up.
On Monday, October 26, adults drove the students around Yreka to gather the bags. After collecting, the students unloaded the bags. Some students were chosen to have a picture taken for the Siskiyou Daily News. The bags will be taken to the local food bank.
