Home and school fundraisers - Oct 12
Home and school is the portion of our school that basically provides us with events like Fall Picnic, our S.A. Banquet, and our Thanksgiving program. However, Home and school is not made out of money.
That's why we recently held a fundraiser, selling calendars and cards. Eleven out of forty-two students participated, and made a three hundred dollar profit. Before the fundraiser began, we enticed our students to sell with prizes for the top sellers from each classroom. Our three lucky winners were Catherine, from
Mrs. Lamb's class, Madison from Ms. Buell's classroom, and Fisher, From Mr. Kelley's class.
Home and school also holds another fundraiser. Every Friday we sell Mexi Nuggets (a good, hot snack to tide us over until lunch), and make about twenty-five dollars a week.
Every little bit helps, and we the kids, really appreciate it. Thanks for your support!
