7-9 Sports Camp Trip - Oct 5
At five forty-five AM, on October 5, the seventh thru ninth graders drove to Healdsburg, CA, to participate in a sports camp held at Rio Lindo Adventist Academy. We participated in several sports, volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Aside from having sessions to learn about these sports, we also had worships, food, and a little taste of dorm life. Each of the coaches were fun, as were the faculty we met. We ate cafeteria food, swam in the pool (very cold), and met students from other schools, some of us are still in contact with them. On the seventh, we began the long haul home, and on the way we stopped at Turtle Bay to explore the park. This too was fun. We arrived at about five o'clock back home, sore, but ready for some new challenges.
