Fall Picnic - Sept 27
On Sept. 27, the school had its annual Fall Picnic. With much energy, the school started its hike to Greenhorn Park. There they did many fun activities and ate lunch. Even the smoky skies did not dampen spirits. Split into four color-coordinated groups, they hiked, searching for clues that told of California's history.
At the park they did many more activities, many consisting of water balloon fun, and ate a filling lunch of haystacks. The students played tug-of-war, water-balloon toss, and water-balloon volleyball. Bubbles were passed out for extra fun. Not only was the Fall Picnic fun, but all got their exercise from walking to and from Greenhorn. Overall, it was a successful day to enjoy one of the first days of autumn.
