Home & School
Active Parents, Happy School...
Parents and teachers maintain an active Home and School Association, similar to the PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) which is a part of public schools. All parents are encouraged to assist in the programs of the school, the Home and School Association, and other functions sponsored by the school.
The Home and School Committee is composed of the Home & School leader and the home room mothers from each of the classrooms. They meet on a regular basis to plan events.
Parents are encouraged to volunteer for the Home and School Association functions. Some of the activities sponsored by the Home and School Association each year include the Thanksgiving potluck supper and program, Fall Picnic, Track & Field and other activities throughout the year.
The Home and School Association sponsors several fundraisers. The profits from these fund raisers are used to help with the above programs, as well as the expenses for Eighth Grade Graduation, Science Fair, Track and Field Day, and other programs as needed.
