Choir Grades 4-9
Grades 4 - 9 Choir perform for the Thanksgiving program and the annual Christmas program.
Important programs for the choir are the Thanksgiving program at the school which is a week or two before Thanksgiving break. The Dinner usually starts at 6:00 P.M., followed by the program at 7 P.M. The other major choir progam is the Christmas program at the Yreka Community Theater which is usually the first or second weekend in December with programs on both Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7:00 P.M. Please check the clalendar for the specific dates of these programs.
Dress for the students in the choir is black and or white. Girls should wear dresses or skirts in black and or white. Boys should wear black pants with white or black button up shirt. Please no jeans or tennis shoes.
Since choir is a significant part of the music grade, participation at the performances are required.
